The Principality of Liechtenstein is a small country, only 61 square miles or so, known as "the last monarchy in the heart of the Alps." It's a very picturesque country, and here's a little of what we saw on our short visit.
After driving through Germany into the Netherlands and checking into our houseboat on the canal, we decided it was time to take another Sandeman's Free Walking Tour.
Here's the TL;DR summary: T-Mobile's Simple Choice International plan is fantastic, especially now that they've added Canada and Mexico. It is, as far as we're concerned, the best deal in cellular service and it gets our highest recommendation.
We had one mission in Hamburg, Germany — to eat a hamburger. We ate two.
Although my pocketbook was still a little light from losing a €10 bet about the outcome of the Juventus vs Barcelona UEFA championship to my eight-year-old daughter, we still had a day to explore more of Berlin.
We spent a total of 12 days in Italy, mostly in the central part of the country. We started in Rome and visited a number of different towns, both large and small, before concluding the Italian portion of our trip in Torino, which we really enjoyed. Here's a few pictures from our Italian days.
