Experiencing Hygge in Copenhagen

Denmark is regularly at or near the top of all those lists of the happiest nations on Earth. We’re still not sure why that is for sure, but it has a lot to do with a little things called hygge, so we went looking for some hygge of our own.

German Interlude

(Or, a Funny Thing happened on the way to Berlin)

We drive from Brussels to Berlin so we can catch a flight to Copenhagen, but not before stopping in Brühl, Germany to adventure through Phantasialand, the best theme park you've (probably) never heard of.

Belgium Beer Tour

Every Country Has Its Beer

(But some are better than others)

Rounding Out Paris

Rounding Out Paris

Doing things and not doing things in la Ville Lumière

Artwork, Towers, Tennis

Sometimes, after a long period of repeated travel, finding a place where you can just chill out for a few days and fall into something that resembles a normal routine is a great thing. And that's just what we did while we were staying at a great Paris apartment. We did, however, still manage to get out and see some other sights in the city.

Catacombs of Paris

The City of Darkness under the City of Light

Millions of Bones Beneath the Streets of Paris

We leave the brightly lit streets of the City of Light and head deep underground into the Paris Catacombs, a series of underground chambers containing the neatly arranged bones of six million former Parisians.
