Our only stop in Chile (at least continental Chile) was Santiago, and this was only long enough to catch a flight to Easter Island.
But we did spend one short day exploring Santiago, riding a funicular to Cerro San Cristóbal and looking out over the city before finding Bella Italia, a restaurant that served the best pizza we had on our trip, a fact most people don’t seem to believe. But it’s true.
