A week on Crete felt like this.
Greece is the birthplace of democracy, the site of the first-ever Olympic games, and a place where you can stumble across ancient ruins around quite literally every corner. We only spent a few days in Athens, but we saw a lot of history. The rest of our time was spent on the island of Crete, relaxing for a little while before we started our whirlwind tour of central Europe. Here's a bit of what we saw.
