We had to leave Le Marche and head across Italy to Lucca, but not before we stopped in to see the mummies of Urbania in the Church of Death.
On Thursday, 28 April, we picked up our car and drove from Rome to La Tavola Marche, a small country farmhouse in Italy's Le Marche region where we would spend a relaxing few days.
When it came to adventuring around Europe, we explored our options and decided that a car was the best choice.
When one thinks of Rome, many things come to mind. But the Colosseum and the Roman Forum are very near the top of the list. We threw in the Pantheon, too, just for good measure.

I've always been a little afraid of making my own pasta. So when Walks of Italy offered me a chance to learn how to do just that from an Italian chef, I jumped at the opportunity.
The first thing we did after arriving in Rome was to leave the country and head into Vatican City. We, like every other person in the tiny country of Vatican City, went to see the Sistine Chapel. But we didn't realize just how much art the Vatican Museum held.
