Canals, Red Lights, Houseboats, Miracles
After driving through Germany into the Netherlands and checking into our houseboat on the canal, we decided it was time to take another Sandeman's Free Walking Tour.
After driving through Germany into the Netherlands and checking into our houseboat on the canal, we decided it was time to take another Sandeman's Free Walking Tour.
We had one mission in Hamburg, Germany — to eat a hamburger. We ate two.
Although my pocketbook was still a little light from losing a €10 bet about the outcome of the Juventus vs Barcelona UEFA championship to my eight-year-old daughter, we still had a day to explore more of Berlin.
We arrived back in Berlin just in time to take the afternoon free Sandeman's Walking Tour. And what a tour it was!
The chilly winds blowing through Copenhagen couldn't keep us inside ... we still had a lot of things to see in the city.
Another major European city, another excellent walking tour from Sandeman's in which we learn a lot about Denmark in general and Copenhagen specifically.
Denmark is regularly at or near the top of all those lists of the happiest nations on Earth. We’re still not sure why that is for sure, but it has a lot to do with a little things called hygge, so we went looking for some hygge of our own.
After a Sandeman's Free Walking Tour of Brussels, we went about exploring the city ourselves. Here’s what we turned up.
Another major European city means another Sandeman's walking tour for us.
Sometimes, after a long period of repeated travel, finding a place where you can just chill out for a few days and fall into something that resembles a normal routine is a great thing. And that's just what we did while we were staying at a great Paris apartment. We did, however, still manage to get out and see some other sights in the city.
