Wednesday, 3-12-2014. Day 105
Memorials, Museums, and Light Shows
Unlike Kyoto, we make the most of our day in Hiroshima.
Unlike Kyoto, we make the most of our day in Hiroshima.
Despite being seasoned adventurers, we failed at exploring Kyoto.
As much as we were enjoying Tokyo, we wanted to explore other parts of Japan. We had plans to visit Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima over the next week.
After a spooky midnight disturbance, we had to move our residence and get some train tickets ... if only we could keep track of our stuff.
We wanted to see a little more of Tokyo, so we scheduled a walking tour that would take us to some different parts of the city. But first, we had to close the book on our Chinese visas.
We take care of even more business in Tokyo and meet up with some family.
We visit Ra.a.g.f (Rabbit and grow fat), a rabbit cafe in the heart of Shibuya.
We had two prime goals for the day — apply for our Chinese visas and get some tickets to Museum Ghibli. We only succeeded in one of them.
As our plane began its bumpy descent into Shanghai's Pudong Airport, we knew one thing for certain: making our connecting flight was going to be close.
