A trip around the world gives a person plenty of time. Now there are a lot of different things you can do with that time, but we choose to spend it reading. And because this adventure is about education as much as exploration, one of the things we like to do is read books about the places we've visited (hopefully while we are visiting—although this doesn't always work out).
A few of the books we've read about where we've been.
There's no real criteria for what books we choose. Sometimes it'll be a collection of essays about where we are, a historical investigation into events that shaped a region, or just a fictional tale set in a location we've spent some time in.
