Italy
The first thing we did after entering Italy was leave its borders to visit the sovereign country of Vatican City.
We spent the next 10 days roaming around central Italy. From Rome we visited a number of different towns, both large and small, before concluding the Italian portion of our trip in Torino, which we really enjoyed.

Eating, Cooking, and Drinking Like a Roman
Taking a Cooking Class with Walks of Italy

The first thing we did after arriving in Rome was to leave the country and head into Vatican City. We, like every other person in the tiny country of Vatican City, went to see the Sistine Chapel. But we didn't realize just how much art the Vatican Museum held.
