Germany in Pictures

We were surprised how scenic Germany is. We crossed the country four times during the European portion of our trip, which allowed us to see quite a bit of a rather large country. Here are a few of those things that we experienced.

Although my pocketbook was still a little light from losing a €10 bet about the outcome of the Juventus vs Barcelona UEFA championship to my eight-year-old daughter, we still had a day to explore more of Berlin.

We arrived back in Berlin just in time to take the afternoon free Sandeman's Walking Tour. And what a tour it was!

We drive from Brussels to Berlin so we can catch a flight to Copenhagen, but not before stopping in Brühl, Germany to adventure through Phantasialand, the best theme park you've (probably) never heard of.

One Night in Regensburg

After a few days in Prague, We were off to Regensburg, Germany for a one-night stop. But first, before we left the Czech Republic for good, we had to stop at the town of Plzn to visit the Pilsner-Urquell Brewery.

The Prototype German Work Camp

As we travel through Europe, we've been getting a very different look at the events that led up to World War II. So it was with a little trepidation that we decided to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial. It was a tough, but very educational tour.
