Belgium
We visited Belgium on three different occasions, so these reports are bit spread out.
In short, though, any country famous for Chocolate, Fries, and Beer (plus an ever-urinating statue of a baby) is worth visiting multiple times.

More Beer, More Chocolate, More Fries
Our triumphant return to Belgium brought us to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bruges, a small but charming town that was quite pleasant to visit.
German Interlude
(Or, a Funny Thing happened on the way to Berlin)
We drive from Brussels to Berlin so we can catch a flight to Copenhagen, but not before stopping in Brühl, Germany to adventure through Phantasialand, the best theme park you've (probably) never heard of.
Every Country Has Its Beer
(But some are better than others)
On our travels around the world, we've had some great beer, but when it comes to sheer variety, there's no place else quite like Belgium. So I enthusiastically jumped at the chance to take a tour of Belgian beer in Brussels.

A Smurfy Look at the EU's Capital City
After a Sandeman's Free Walking Tour of Brussels, we went about exploring the city ourselves. Here’s what we turned up.
Thursday, 28-05-2015. Day 281
Chocolate, Fries, Beer ... Urination?
Another major European city means another Sandeman's walking tour for us.
Tuesday, 19-05-2015. Day 272
Churches, Castles, and War
After touring Luxembourg City the previous day, we dedicated this day to exploring the rest of Luxembourg ... and a little bit of Belgium.
Monday, 15-06-2015. Day 299
On a Ferry from Calais to Dover
Monday morning it was straight outta Bruges and right into Calais so we could catch the ferry across the English Channel to Dover. This would be our last day in the Schengen Area until Iceland. And it wasn't long before we saw the White Cliffs and arrived in Dover.
